BIT year 1 & 2: Using PSEA Account To Pay School Fees in Oct 08 Term.
Starting from 2008, all Singaporeans aged seven to 20 will be given a Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) as part of a government effort to support the higher education needs of Singaporeans.
Up to $400 will be deposited in each account, with a second top-up in 2009 and further top-ups in subsequent years dependent on Budget surpluses. With effect from May 08, students can use Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) to pay their school fees in some post-secondary institutions approved by MOE (including ITE).
About PSEA: When ITE Students Can Use PSEA?
ITE students can use their PSEA to pay school fees from: 1) Jul 08 Term onwards (For Nitec Students) 2) Oct 08 Terms onwards (For Higher Nitec Students)
How To Apply?
Students can withdraw the PSEA funds by submitting ad hoc withdrawal application using the attached form and submitting to the Admin Office.
